Robin and Steven will coach and work with students of all ages and abilities in a semi-public forum. We will love it, learn it, and live it.. all together using music to help build relationships and community. This is a great chance to work up close and personal with a world class artists.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:=================================
Robin Leigh Massie, soprano, and Steven Condy, baritone, were married in 1992 after receiving their Master’s Degrees in voice/opera performance from Yale University. They have established themselves with careers in opera and Musical Theater that span the globe.
In musical theatre, Ms. Massie performed the role of Jellylorum in Andrew Lloyd Weber’s CATS in Hamburg, Germany. She has also sung with the Bucks County Playhouse, Pocono Playhouse and Gateway Playhouse. Roles include Yum Yum in The Mikado, Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Laurey Williams in Oklahoma! and Lily in The Secret Garden. In the summer of 1996, Ms. Massie toured South America singing the role of Christine in Ivan Jacobs’ The Phantom of the Opera.
In concert repertoire, Ms. Massie has performed the Fauré Requiem with the Susquehanna Valley Chorale and Carmina Burana with The Bucks County Choral Society and The Pennsbury Community Chorus. She has performed with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra for five consecutive seasons performing “Yuletide Celebration”. In 2003 she sang with the New York City Ballet in Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and can be heard on a recording with the Westminster Choir (Like As a Hart) as the soprano soloist in Mozart's “Laudate Dominum.” She was also a finalist in the Jenny Lind Voice Competition.
A native of Austin, Texas, Ms. Massie has a Bachelor's degree in Voice Performance from Westminster Choir College and a Master's degree in Voice from Yale University. She is currently a member of the voice faculty and Director of Opera Workshop at Philadelphia Biblical University (www.pbu.edu).
Steven Condy has been critically acclaimed for his singing and acting abilities, performing with opera companies throughout North America. Most recently, Mr. Condy performed with Opera Pacific and Chautauqua Opera as Dr. Dulcamara in The Elixir of Love, and with Opera Naples (Florida) in a double-bill as Melchior in Amahl and the Night Visitors and Siméon in Debussy’s L’enfant Prodigue. In the 2005-2006 season, he appeared with the Washington National Opera as both Baron Zeta in The Merry Widow (a part of “Trilogy: Domingo and Guests in Three Acts”), and as Dr. Dulcamara in L’elisir d’amore. He made his debut with Opera Pacific as Taddeo in L’italiana in Algeri, and also appeared in the title roles of Verdi’s Falstaff and Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi with New Jersey Opera Theater. In 2006, Mr. Condy marked his 50th career performance in the role of Dr. Bartolo in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Utah Opera, a role in which he made his Canadian operatic debut with Calgary Opera. He later returned to Calgary, as well as Edmonton Opera, to perform the title role in Don Pasquale. Other recent engagements include Don Magnifico in La Cenrentola with Florentine Opera, Sir Robert Cecil in Benjamin Britten’s Gloriana with Opera Theater of St. Louis, Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte with Hawaii Opera Theater and Arizona Opera, as well as engagements with San Francisco, Portland, Dallas, and Chautauqua Opera companies.
He is the winner of many voice awards and competitions, including the Richard Tucker Foundation, the Pope Foundation, and the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition; he was also a finalist in the 1993 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
Jamie Rankin (piano) studied music and German at Wheaton College, and has been working with Christian youth choirs in Germany since 1980 as arranger and conductor. He received his Ph.D. in Germanic literature from Harvard University, and now teaches as a Senior Lecturer in German at Princeton University, where he is also involved in the campus ministry of Princeton Evangelical Fellowship.
