Bel Canto is Da Capo’s advanced vocal instruction
ensemble.
Members of Bel Canto are advanced high schoolers, college
students, and adults who are looking to grow and develop
their vocal talents in a supportive, nurturing musical
community. Choral singing is only one aspect of what we do.
We also present lessons in group vocal technique,
encompassing posture, breathing, tone development, and
vowel placement.
Bel Canto is held weekly on Tuesday nights at Huguenot Road
Baptist Church from 7:45-9:00pm throughout the
instructional session. Bel Canto does participate in our
finale session event, sharing their music with the
community.

Da Capo Institute
We make musicians, not just music...
Group instruction is central to our community
building mission. Members of all ages become a
part of an instant support community just like sports teams
and neighborhood friendships. Our chorus' communities use
your unique talents to improve the whole. Groups rehearse
and meet regularly each semester and then present 2-3
regional performances or showcases as appropriate.
Events and all Instruction are built around the concept of using music as a language to reach out to our local communities. Our venues are typically churches, schools, hospitals, nursing homes and even private residences.
Our musicians perform regularly at Da Capo events and concert series as well as in their schools, churches and with other community music groups. Pianists, Singers, and Instrumentalists of ALL ability levels from beginner to master find growth and performances opportunities abundant as a result of their relationship with Da Capo.

passion driven approach via choruses, private instruction,
coaching, small ensembles and public performances.
